qualified teachers choose supply teaching as an introduction into
the profession, and Secondary Supply can offer you help and guidance.
You
can gain experience of different school environments on a short
or long term basis
Once
Secondary Supply have accepted you we are able to offer you a choice
of positions. Secondary Supply teachers have a good reputation and
short term bookings can often lead to permanent positions.
All
Secondary Supply teachers have been through a face to face interview,
had two references taken up, hold a valid CRB Enhanced Disclosure
Certificate and a DfES List 99 check.
INDUCTION
YEAR -
It is important for NQTs to complete their induction year. Agencies
are not allowed to monitor your induction year, but Secondary Supply
have client schools who are willing to take on that responsibility
backed up by our experienced staff. Day to day supply does not count
towards your induction year; it has to be at least a one term placement;
three separate term placements qualify you for your induction year.
You have five years in which to complete your induction.
